you are one of us "real" fans, and I am glad you made the comment, you did, good for you, the only way we get rid of "ex-fans" is to let them know how we feel, there is not a lot of good entertainment these days, that is why I fire up, when bad comments are made about the guys, they worked very hard for this amazing long tour, none of us could do, they do not deserve bad comments, because everything is in fun, I had 2 wonderful concerts 2 1/2 weeks ago, that I will never forget, I treasure them and always will, now we hope that whatever their plans will be, that it will not be 3 years before we will see them again.

Dear Miss Ann Sawicki,

Seems like you have spent your money on something that you shouldn't have and I feel sorry for you. Perhaps next time you should just stay home and listen to the stereo, since on-stage banter isn't your thing and bright lights hurt your eyes.

I can't imagine anyone would want to attend a concert in darkness or with just one spot light shining on the singers, and that the singers just sing and sing and not interact with the audience.

And I certainly couldn't imagine you not getting enough in the past for you are all too ready to give up based on just one 'bad' experience, even to the point of discounting how good and talented the men of Il Divo are.

Millions of records and concert tickets sold stand testimony to the greatness of Il Divo who not only brings us joy with their music, but bring us all together as one united people. It will be your loss to give them up, but definitely our gain if they continue on for years to come.

I hope you move on to stuff that suits you better.

Hi Katherina,

I agree with your comments completly. I think Il Divo is the best singing and performing group in the world.

My wife and I saw them twice ,one show in the front row and you can see the passion in there faces and hear the wonderful sound these four great singers make together. We really loved their conversations with the fans, the lights were great and we got to meet Simon Chalk their concert leader. We also met their musical director Andrew Small in passing in Boston. Both were really nice people, in fact we had are pictures taken with them. We also met Carlos in passing at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT and he took time to shake our hands and to say thanks. My wife and I are loyal fans for years now almost 7 years and look forward to many more years of great music in the coming years and would see these great singers in a hearbeat. We are devoted fans thru and thru! We look forward to there new CD coming in November!

Ann Sawicki,
It is a real shame how you described the last concert of four very talented men, you sound angry, they had nothing to do with the lighting, the many fans of us enjoyed how they presented themselves, but then there always people like you that make it all sound so awful, I saw them 2 weeks ago in both concerts and could have gone to more, but to be so harsh with your comments is unfair, so if you no longer want to be their fan, not enjoy their music and songs, is your loss, but you are totally outvoted, saying that they should give it up, we real fans want more and cannot wait for them to come back, you must have had a bad day to make such harsh comments, you are not appreciated by all means.

Il Divo,

I was a fan until last evening's concert in Denver, Colorado.

The music was nice - but not outstanding - it was the stage set up, the glaring lights, the silly attempt to chat with the audience that fell flat, and the very sad attempt at the "bachelor" in the group to let the ladies in the audience know that he was very available and looking for company that made what could have been a very enjoyable evening such a disaster.

The set lighting was awful - with spotlights blinding those of us in our section to where we had to shut our eyes (one put on sunglasses) to try and survive the lights in our eyes. The harsh colored lights on the stage did nothing to set the mood of the music but it did distract and annoy our view of the group. Nothing was gained by this type of set up.

In the past, I couldn't get enough. Last night, I bailed before the end just like many others in my area. It seemed like many of us couldn't get out of the theater fast enough. So sad, so sad.

So, good bye to Il Divo. I won't be coming to your concerts again nor will I be purchasing any of your music as I think you aren't as good as you could be or as good as you have been. Perhaps it is time to give it up.

A former fan who is saddened by this turn of events.

Thank you for the wonderful concert at Starlight in Kansas City on Thursday evening. You have gained two more fans ... I brought my son, age 23, and daughter, age 36, with both of them saying, "Fabulous". My 96-year-old mother and I watch an Il Divo DVD concert about every other week on Sunday afternoons, and she is a fan also. Thursday evening was perfect in every way...beautiful weather, beautiful music and a memorable time spent with family. Keep bringing us your sensational music and stay well!
