Today is a very exciting day for Il Divo! We are thrilled to announce that Il Divo will be raising the curtains on a series of live Broadway performances to coincide with the release of their 6th studio album “A Musical Affair,” worldwide on 5th November and 2nd December in the UK.
“Il Divo - A Musical Affair: The Greatest Songs of Broadway Live,” will kick off a limited run of live concerts at New York’s Marquis Theatre on November 7th, marking the first time that the four band members will sing together on the Broadway stage. The show will intertwine the most famous songs from Broadway musicals with the individual theatrical experiences of Carlos, David, Urs and Sébastien. Il Divo will also lucky enough to be joined on stage by Tony and Grammy Award Winner, Heather Headley who will be a featured guest for the entire run.

David is particularly excited to for the shows to begin: "Bringing a show to New York City to play in a Broadway theater is going to be like no other Il Divo experience. Being in the middle of Times Square, the home of Broadway musicals will help us to raise our bar. And having our name up in lights at Broadway's Marriott Marquis Theatre will be an absolute thrill. I can't wait!"
Carlos is very optimistic about the fans feedback: "I think the fans are going to be really, really pleased – we've got well-known songs here, but we have a new sound and concept for them, and being on Broadway will also be a chance to try something really new and theatrical for us."
Tony and Grammy Award Winner Heather Headley who features on the album and will be a guest star for the entire run of shows said: "I'm looking forward to working with Il Divo. I'm excited to be back in New York, on Broadway, and singing some of the best of Broadway.”
