Hi there,
I was fortunate enough to have VIP tickets to your concert in Brisbane last night and must congratulate you on your artistry. I have never seen you perform before - I'm normally a classical music/opera buff. However it was a great pity that the wonderful artistry that you displayed was buried under a heavy cloak of sound engineering. My right ear is still ringing this morning. It seemed as if a rock and roll mix was in play at the sound desk. The singing was often distorted and I could not really 'hear' your lovely little orchestra.
However I do appreciate what you do to bring beautiful classical music to a wider audience and I loved your take on some of the old favourites. Beautiful arrangements that did not detract from the original intent of the composers.
It would be lovely to hear you and your orchestra in a more intimate setting without the 'wall of sound'.
Kind regards, and wishing you every continued success into the future.

The concert at Hope Estate Hunter Valley [Sat] was shrouded with thunderstorms & rain for the first half. The concert went ahead after much to'in & fro’in & the guys did the best they could under such conditions. The concert itself was enjoyable & held much encouragement by the guys for audience participation… which was quickly deflated by the security staff… in our section at least. People pay good money to attend, are encouraged by the performers, but abruptly put back in place by security staff who don’t wish to have any responsibility for the shift they are working. It’s not like the age of the people who attended this concert were likely to run amok!
Hope Estate, get real!
It’s a shame the guys have removed themselves from their personal presence within the audience… makes it very hard to deliver gifts, etc. The security staff were no help in this matter either.
Although the concert structure was very formal, there were moments of familiarity & good natured, lighthearted fun… & that’s a side of the guys the audience needs to see & connect with. Not just their beautiful sounds.
May they have many more years together creating such… although the song Time To Say Goodbye lends an inclination they are saying ‘G’bye Aust, we won’t be back’ …. Or ‘G’bye world, we’re done!’ …!
Many were asking this question…! Would be nice if this matter were made clear!
Congrats to the guys on a luvly new DVD, it’s a pleasure to watch.

Love you guys, you can sing whatever and I'm in awe.
Rebekah del Rio's voice is extraordinary, and I would love to see her in
some of your tour concerts, but you manage the song wonderfully without her.

Hi all!

I have to say I LOVE this new version of the song, and *whispers* I prefer it to the CD...I'm not keen on the female singers voice....But it wouldn't do for us all to be the same would it??!!
Just stuck my nose over to the Forum BLIMEY!!!!!! Is there a brightness control!!! You need your sunglasses when you visit there!
Anyway, hope everyone is okay!
Take care
