Lea Salonga will join Il Divo for the UK Leg of the world tour!

As the Asia leg of the world tour draws to a close, Il Divo are very happy to announce that Lea Salonga will also accompany them for the UK leg of the tour!

The UK leg of the group’s fourth world tour kicks off on October 18. The nightly concerts will gleam with Lea Salonga’spowerful voice and perfect pitch on both solo performances and duets with the group.

Il Divo’s signature romantic and emotional performances will include heartfelt classics like “Some Enchanted Evening” (South Pacific), “Tonight” (West Side Story), “Memory” (Cats) and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” (The Lion King).

We asked Lea Salonga how she felt about joining the guys for another leg of the tour...

“I am thrilled to be joining Il Divo as they continue their Musical Affair tour worldwide. Having such a passion for musical theater since an early age myself, I cannot imagine a more talented group to join forces with to share these timeless songs with audiences of all ages. And it doesn’t hurt that they are so handsome to look at too.”

“We’re excited to be bringing our brand new show with the incredible Lea Salonga ‘home’ to the UK. Delving into the world of Broadway repertoire is new territory for us, and being able to create a wonderful new show with such an established and celebrated star of many musicals is such an honour."

Omg! Pls do a collaboration with Lea Salonga. You guys rocked! When you did The Music of The Night, it was magical!

Must admit I feel a bit disappointed that they are having a guest again.
I understand that some songs are duets, but we have bought tickets to see Il divo alone.
Booked the tickets on the day they were released and was so excited, now feel a bit deflated!
Please do a show in future that is purely only you gorgeous guys!! XX

We have had tickets to see Il Divo for months now, and have to say that I am dissapointed that someone is joining them on their British tour, i didn't go to see them when Kathrine Jenkins appeared with them as it is Il Divo that i wish to see, and not any one else!
They really do not need anyone else to appear with them at all! does anyone else feel the same as I do?
