In the penultimate installment of our Christmas Countdown, Urs shares his favourite memory of Christmas and we get into the festive swing with IL Divo's rendition of the classic White Christmas!
Urs: My favorite memory of Christmas (and I have a lot, because I love Christmas time, so it’s quite hard to choose one... anyway) is when I was a little boy, I do not remember exactly what age, but we had a lot of snow that winter in our little village in Switzerland. And it was cold. So cold that the snow, even in the roads hadn’t melted, but was all white and compact, so that the whole village, surrounded by the wooded hills, truly looked like a winter wonderland. Before dinner, we took our old fashioned wooden sleighs and went for a walk, the whole family including grandma. It was getting dark and the stars came out on a crisp clear winter sky. The atmosphere was just magical, and we kids were very excited, looking forward to finally seeing the beautifully lit up Christmas tree my parents would have prepared over the last few days, and especially the presents lying underneath it...

Jamais je ne pourrai oublier tes sourires et surtout ce petit clin d'oeil complice rien que pour moi . C'est un des plus beaux et plus émouvants souvenirs de ma vie. Et comment oublier aussi cette interview où tu parles de mes poèmes !!!! J'espérais que tu les lirais et déjà, cela me serait allée droit au coeur mais .....que tu parles de ces poèmes .....c'est encore plus que je pouvais espérer !!! Merci d'être allé au delà de mes rêves, de mes espoirs . Est-ce que tu peux imaginer l'émotion qui a été la mienne ?? Mon petit Ursy, j'en ai pleuré de joie tellement c'était émouvant que savoir que mes poèmes ont retenu ton attention !!! Et ce soir là, au Zénith de Paris, tu m'as envoyée au paradis !!! J'avais trooooop envie de t'embrasser !!!!!

Thanks Virginie for inviting me to join this private Ursy FB cllub, I am tempted to re-open my FB account or create a new one. Several years back, before FB was popular, I used it for about a year but did not like it so stopped using since....but, to join the 'crazy' Uberbabes there sounds fun so I will surely consider it
. Like you, I am a member of the Official Forum too but I will save asking you to guess who I am as my nature is super private and shy, there were things I had said here that I wouldn't dare express in the OF!!
I know some people hate a few of the songs i put in my ursy videos like this FOREVERMORE but hey...Urs likes metal and i also do !!! not all kinds but i think there are very good things in rock and power metal and when i find something interresting, i often either share it with Urs or make a video for him on a lovely metal ballad !!
I feel happy and proud of your opinion about my videos , IamyURS . I feel like i found a safe means of communication and - most important to me - of expression !!

On Facebook, i am Virginie Bühler and we have an ursy club ( private for obvious safety reasons !!) called AMAZING URS BÜHLER. Since there is no one there to make us shut up , we're totally unleashed and can get really silly but we avoid crossing the line . Hi Virginie, no I was not thinking at all that you made up what Urs said in the interview about your poems. Knowing Urs cared a lot about his fans it's not a surprise that he would mention your poems. I like to read about Urs so was interested in all kinds of coverage about him, it must be in the ID archives somewhere. Also looked up your YT vids created for Urs, really nice (esp. some songs/music you chose, including Can't Help Falling In Love, 80s Anthem, Beethoven and particularly the UberLord's Meinherz). I am sure he will appreciate your efforts. There're loyal Uberbabes in different parts of the world who created fan vids on YT for Urs, I enjoy them very much and I'm sure you're the 'SUPER' one from France
I have the same 'BURNING LOVE' for Urs but not as creative
Just watched ID's Live in London DVD and am listening to the WG album again..... my collection of ID CDs and DVDs are my 'life doses' to be taken everyday 
And Urs is also 'part of me', as in 'Sei Parte Ormai Di Me' (...Illumina d'immenso l'anima!!)

Il faut que mon coeur soit rempli de la joie immense que j'ai à t'aimer et non de la tristesse que j'éprouve à ne pas être toujours comprise car cela n'est pas bon pour moi.
Les gens ne prennent pas toujours la peine de chercher à savoir ni à comprendre qui je suis et je ne suis moi même pas toujours certaine de savoir qui je suis non plus !!!!
Moi aussi j'ai souvent entendu un refrain qui d'après ce que tu as avoué t'es bien connu : personnalité complexe, difficile à cerner .....et bla bla et bla bla !! pas facile de se trouver et de s'accepter dans ces conditions, non??

I don't know if the original interview was TV or radio or whatever but i saw the interview in the lounge some years ago as a printed one ( so it may be an interview for a magazine or newspaper ). The theme of the interview was Urs and the women so first, he was questioned about his mother, sisters and the women in his family, then the girls he loved or liked and finally , his retaionships with his fans and it's when he said that ( i try to remember the exact words ) : " there is a girl who often writes me poems which are highly passionate, a bit excessive and which may me feel a little uncomfortable sometimes but which are most of the time cute and very well-written. I like them; it's very touching " . I don't see 1000 poems posted here by 1000 women ( especially as he says " highly passionate and a bit excessive" ) so i have no doubt he was talking of me . Sorry, i don't know if the interview is still available somewhere on the site

The most imortant thing for me was that he read and noticed and liked what i wrote for him . Maybe one day he will let me know if he also watched my videos ??

Just won't to say hello to my friends on this site.
It's true Urs really said some name's from woman who were in the public. He reconized them. That was at the Killruddry concert. In august last year, in Ierland. I was there to. So I heard him saying that. I was really surprised that he knows the names. But thats nice he does know that.
I have no more news for today.

Hi the super french uber, you asked us to guess who you were but I thought you already included your name (Virginie) in your posts(?) I am curious about the interview you mentioned where Urs complimented on the poems you wrote him, was the interview on TV, radio or printed? Hope you can share it with us
I know how happy you must have felt, it's like some Uberbabes being recognized/named by Urs publicly (in the Ireland concert last year) and more!
Although I feel sad that the Urs of 2004-8 is gone for good, it does not mean I cannot relate to your sentiments about him; he is one fine human being and an 'ideal' man in many women's heart, including mine (sob).

I am still in my room reading the messages. Paola your saying the right words to. I think we understand it all.
This day I was busy with everything in the house. Laundry, cleaning , coocking, and put the Christmas things away.
Together with the ladie I am doing the classical evening we take a look at an Il Divo dvd before we started with the evening. This time we look to another dvd with the people. What a pity. The other dvd was not so good at all. So we could better have done the dvd from Il Divo..
How is everybody, Karen Guille, Debbie all oke?
Also taking some rest because the days were so busy with everything.
I also take a look at you tube to see Il Divo in Paraquay and China. That was also oke.
Big hug for Paola and all the good for the new year. That we all have a lovely year with Il Divo and the concerts and everything.
Now I go to bed to take some sleep.
I am so very happy that I have some lovely ladies on this site to talk to.
