With the most romantic day of the year just around the corner we asked you to write a poem for Il Divo starting with the classic line; Roses are red.
We received hundreds of entries on the official forum, some long, some short, some funny, some touching, some for the entire group, others for a particular member. However, there could only be four winners and they are RevHev, David's Soulmate, Irish Colleen and Kinx. They will each receive a signed Valentine's card from their chosen Il Divo.

I just wish that my beautiful Urs read all what I write for him. Maybe that's why I haven't recive an E-mail From the forum, since I spend so much time writing in here.... I don't know... I'm just trying to be notice by U.

Dark is the night, but plenty of stars, like the emeralds that shine right now in your eyes.
So strong is the power that lays on your side, that just with a sigh makes my sorrows disappear.
So hard is the longing for being by your side, making me, sometimes, feel like tearing apart.
But the hope is stronger and keeps me together, waiting and longin for being somehow together...

Je suis anécoutant une chancon, est en Epagnol il s'appele ''yo te voy a amar'' but in English it's called ''This I promise you''... lamento felicitarte por tu cumpleaños a destiempo pero ocurrió un evento en mi vida que entristeció el mes que considero como el mejor del año (por tu cumpleaños, el mío que fue el tres de marzo, el de un un amigo 21 de marzo y por que hace un año estuve en sus conciertos).
Este mismo mes falleció mi padre y es algo que siempre dejará huella en mí por lo doloroso de la situación.
